Now when my Draw Every Day On March Challenge is over, I think it's time to write down some thoughts.
First of all, I remember last year I had major problems to stay in schedule. This time I stayed in schedule even though I submitted couple art work little bit late. I was spending lots of night over my friends so I wasn't able to use my scanner every day. Second, I had scanning problems. My family owns one scanner and it's connected to my parents computer. My mom uses that computer to do works so I don't have many changes to use that computer. So even though I had finished my drawing really early, I had to wait it's late night until I can use the scanner. Third, I managed to get obsessed with Sherlock just before I started my challenge so I did lots of Sherlock fan art xD But to compare my last year challenge, that was actually a good thing. Last year I had really bad problems to device what on earth should I draw today, so I drew really random stuff like mushroom could and Prince William and Kate Middleton.
I liked my challenge month, but now I think I'm going to have little break. I have lots of others things to do (university entrance exams are getting closed D: ). I've planned to draw that one meme where I choose some of my old drawings and draw it again. It will be completely new things, because the art work I've chose is something I never published even though I liked it back then.
I would also like to thank you 17 new watchers! This is insane, I though it will take ages I reach my 50 watchers, but now I have 64. Of course 64 is actually really tiny number, but for me it feels big because I don't have that many watchers. I have a feeling I got lots of new watchers when I advertised my DA account on Finnish Sherlockian United though.
And that leads me to talks about Sherlock. Like you might have noticed, I've joined to Sherlock fandom. What a great show! If you haven't watched it, do it immediately because it's screenwriting gold. The only minuses are that there's only six episodes and the last episode might emotionally damage you.
I've joined to many, many Sherlock-related groups in here and I'm really positively surprised how talented Sherlock artists are. I've been in Glee fandom so long that I've used to the fact there's lots of poor drawings and only couple really great, worth-for-favouriting pieces of fan art. But suddenly I see so many great Sherlock drawings I could favourite them all. It actually makes me want to better, which is a good thing.
Okay, bye until the next time! : )
